Birding Tour -- Nightjars of Great Pond Mountain Wildlands

There is something magical about a nighttime walk in the woods to look (and, more importantly, listen) for Eastern Whip-poor-wills and Common Nighthawks. If we are particularly lucky, we might even find the Chuck-will’s-widow that has been reported. The sun will set on us, so you will need a headlamp (preferably one with a red light setting to help preserve our night vision). Plan on walking 4-6 miles on a gravel road. Fee: $45 per person. Maximum group size: 10 people.
